City of Albany, Georgia Selects ESG as their Sewer System Partner

The City of Albany, Georgia has selected ESG Operations, Inc. as their Sewer System partner. The scope of work under the new partnership includes preventive and corrective maintenance of Albany’s Joshua Street Wastewater Treatment Plant, operation and maintenance of the City’s 108 pump stations, sanitary station overflow prevention, creation of emergency operation plans, and 24/7 monitoring. 


Positioned on the banks of the Flint River in southwest Georgia, Albany serves as the seat of Dougherty County. The City of Albany is a thriving community known for offering big city amenities while providing the comforts of small town living. Albany’s population is just over 70,000, making it one of the Top 10 largest cities in the state of Georgia.
