City of Barnesville, Georgia, Awarded WWTP Lab of the Year

ESG Operations, Inc. is proud to announce the City of Barnesville, Georgia has been recognized by the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) for their laboratory quality assurance program at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Barnesville’s WWTP lab plays a vital role in the City’s wastewater process.

ESG/Barnesville laboratory professionals evaluate and perform critical analyses that protect both the environment and public health.

“ESG’s award-winning laboratory operations provide critical data to our wastewater operations staff and we congratulate Team Barnesville for demonstrating outstanding accomplishments in operating an environmental laboratory facility, and for this significant recognition by the GAWP,” stated John Eddlemon, P.E., ESG Senior Vice President.

Annually, the GAWP recognizes laboratories across the state that exemplify outstanding quality assurance practices and procedures and encourage the professional advancement of laboratories within Georgia.

“This award is a testament to the hard work and commitment to excellence that our WWTP personnel demonstrate every day,” commented Brandon Lewis, Project Manager.

ESG/Barnesville will be presented the “WWTP Laboratory of the Year” award on November 17 at the GAWP 2015 Fall Conference in Athens, Georgia.
