Corporate Safety and Technical Services Director has over 19 years of experience in the Industrial/Municipal water and wastewater treatment industries and has extensive experience in the fields of occupational and environmental management. His areas of expertise include General Industry and Construction Safety, Excavation, Trenching and Shoring, Confined Space Entry, Risk Management and Traffic Safety.
West graduated in 1990 with a degree in Chemical Engineering Technology. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and is active in numerous local safety outreach technical societies.
Vice President, Community Outreach and Governmental Affairs
Mr. Johnson has 15 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He has solid expertise in project management, business development, and community/political affairs gained from working for several large international engineering firms. Mr. Johnson earned is BA degree in Political Science from the Claremont Colleges in California. He also remains active with numerous professional and community-based organizations. Mr. Johnson’s ability to build consensus with elected officials, client staff, and community stakeholders has produced measurable results, and he’s been consistently recognized for his recurring commitment to community initiatives.
ROGER DODD, JR.
Director of Human Resources
Roger Dodd is a certified Professional in Human Resources and has over 17 years’ experience in corporate HR. An active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Roger also served as Treasurer for the Macon-Bibb Chamber of Commerce and as Chairman of the 2013 Central Georgia Heart Walk of the American Heart Association. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. His expertise in employee relations, training, and talent development make him an integral part of the ESG team.
Senior Operations Specialist – Wastewater
With 39 years experience in the water and wastewater industry, David Moore is an important asset to ESG operations. He has previously served as a manager and supervisor of treatment facilities and has provided extensive start up and operational troubleshooting assistance, as well as having served as a consultant. Moore has established the largest land application program in the state of Georgia, developed maintenance management systems for treatment facilities, provided operational and certification training, established industrial pretreatment programs, and worked with facility design from conceptualization to commissioning. Facilities managed by Mr. Moore have received the Burke Safety Award from the Water Environment Federation.
Senior Operations Specialist – Water
For over 30 years, Don has experienced direct hands-on operation and management of water and wastewater systems. For 20 years he has managed a groundwater system, multiple small and medium surface water systems, including an ultra filtration membrane plant and multiple small wastewater systems. He has experience in iron and manganese removal, controlling DBPs, advanced treatment techniques and water management. He spent 12 years as the drinking water inspector for GA EPD where he reviewed plans, operational protocol and inspected water facilities throughout Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, North and South Carolina.
Don Studied Civil Engineering and Health Systems at Ga. Tech. Don possess a Georgia Class1 Water license and a Georgia Class 2 Wastewater license.
Senior Field Services Manager
As Senior Field Services Manager for ESG Operations, Inc., Mr. Meyer is responsible for providing support to all aspects of the industry at all ESG projects. He provides in-depth technical and management support during facility startup and throughout the life of the contract. In addition, Mr. Meyer oversees the development of new technologies along with solving organizational problems through acquiring and adapting existing technologies that are IT in nature. He assists with the development of new business, strategic planning of company operations, creation of staffing and training plans, as well as scheduling activities of public utilities. Mr. Meyer is actively involved with the GAWP, GRWA, GWEF, WEF, and AWWA. He is both a Safety and Wastewater Inspector for the annual “Plant of the Year” awards program in the State of Georgia.
KRISTEN COURSON, P.E.
Corporate Project Engineer
Ms. Courson has over 10 years of experience in the Engineering field, with a focus on Water Treatment and Distribution. Her work has included interdisciplinary plant design, process equipment selection, process instrumentation, water/sewer main design and construction administration. Ms. Courson has expertise in hydraulic system modeling of pressurized water or force main systems. She has utilized hydraulic modeling to enhance day to day distribution system operations as well as provide for system-wide master planning and capital budgeting.
Ms. Courson received her B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Mercer University in 2001. She currently serves on the state board of the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers (GSPE) while remaining active with the local chapter. Ms. Courson is a registered Professional Engineer.
